Storm
You either love bikes or you don't and the 'storm and I have been good friends for quite some time and covered some ground in that time. Ever since I got my bike licence I haven't been far away from 2 wheels, starting small with a weeny 185cc Suzuki and then barring a brief foray into 750cc I've been a big block 1000cc sorta guy ever since.
Remembering when drivers could actually drive and drivers on country roads where mostly capable, it was enjoyable to head out early on the weekend and put rubber to the road (within "state limits" of course). Then slowly, as the collective IQ and their capabilities dropped, so to did speed limits.
Favouring longevity over country road roulette, we stepped up a notch and went trackside. With 5 x 15 minute stints over the day for the N00b class, I was shattered by days end and the ol' girls shoes had performed tirelessly even if a little scuffed.
Over our time together, I've managed to sprinkle a little bling on the beast, nothing to OG but just enough to let others know, we're in a relationship.
You'll find us out there when it feels like the inmates are running the asylum… again.
